    Help with updates

I am using WordPerfect 10 and QuatroPro 10, version 10.0.0.671, both part of WordPerfect Productivity Pack.  I am running into a variety of problems, so I want to (finally) download any appropriate updates.  I found a description of Service Pack 2 and it sounds like it is what I need to resolve printing problems.  But all I see at here at Corel's website is a French version.  Does anyone know whether an English version is still available and where I can find it?  A secondary question:  Are there any other updates or patches that I should download?

    Thanks for any help.

    Re: Help with updates

    Hi Nancy

Unfortunately Corel does not officially support that old of a version.  So, patches get taken down after a while.  They currently support v11+.  I can imagine you would be having problems with 7+ year old software.

I will give you my two cents (which may be incorrect as this product pre-dates me).  Typically, you would need to install SP1 before SP2, but in some cases both may have been bundled together.  It should tell you if that is the case when you try to install SP2.  I believe 10 went to SP4.

If you are running v10 on a newer OS like Vista you will experience issues as the application was built years before the OS was conceived.

I hope that helps.  Sorry, I could not be more.  WordPerfect Universe is another great resource for this type of question.

    Regards,

    Jay

    Re: Help with updates

Wow! R10 (2002). That's old! You are lucky that I am such a pack rat. I happen to have a CD with all the updates and downloads that were released. I back up everything and keep them forever. However, I fail to understand why you do not upgrade to R14, upgrades are so cheap. The problem is that there are 138Mb of files. That is a bit large to attach to an e-mail. E-mail me and I will send you a Vista Snip of the file list: art(the "at" symbol)oceng.com. If it is what you want, send me a blank good-quality CDR with a stamped self-addressed CD mailer (you can buy these at Office Deport). I'll copy mine and send it to you.
