Once you've clicked ''Snapshot to...'', you can press the space bar to use Snapshot in keyboard mode. You can now use the arrow keys to size the area of your snapshot. You can also move which corner you are controlling with the arrow keys by pressing the Tab button. Press the space bar again to take your snapshot or press ESC to cancel.

Ira, that click you make on the little box is basically your snapshot. You are taking a one pixel snapshot. That is why it looks blank and that is why you can't then take a snapshot when Lightning comes back - you've already taken your snapshot.
You don't need to click on that box to get Lightning back before you take your snapshot. It will come ...

BTW, you can snapshot images to a note or to the clipboard or even to WPO (it defaults to note but you can select others on the pulldown menu - the tab arrowy thingy to the right of the snapshot icon - let me know if my technical jargon is too much (tab arrowy thing - geesh!) as I can paste an ...

For the Public Beta, we only designed the Viewer to open WordPerfect, Word and PDF documents. I love the fact though that people are trying to work around the fringe though to suit their workflows. I know we have heard from a few people that they would like other format support going forward. I can see that.
