Hey Chris,
I just installed the program on my Windows Server 2003 - Standard Edition server and it worked just fine. No problems at ALL!
It could be a Vista problem, but others seem to be having problems with XP Home & XP Pro as well.

I'm facing the following reproducible behaviour:
1. Creating a new note - entering some text - Closing the note
2. Opening the note again - entered text appears for a moment - text disappears - font changes from my selected font to Times New Roman,
Restarting Lightning or reopening the note don't bring the text back.

On Vista, Lightning
Viewer windows may continue to run in the background after you have closed
