After installing Lightning, SnagIt v.8 ceased to work and caused errors. I uninstalled and reinstalled SnagIt, but it didn't help. This morning I uninstalled Lightning and now SnagIt functions fine.  From reading other posts, it looks as if there are some Clipboard and capture issues to fix.

My favorite snapshot tool is Hoversnap.  It has a ton of options for such a tiny, focused, and free application.
